Terms & Conditions
Service Scope: The retainer includes up to 10 hours per month of instructional design support, course updates, maintenance, and strategic consultation. Work outside the defined scope may require a separate agreement. Hours & Usage: Hours are tracked in 15-minute increments. Hours apply only to the current monthly cycle and do not roll over. Additional hours beyond the monthly allotment require prior approval and are billed at the standard hourly rate. Communication & Response Time: Communication occurs through email or scheduled virtual meetings. Standard response time: within 2 business days for non-urgent requests. Priority support is available for time-sensitive needs, depending on availability. Availability: Support is provided during standard business hours, with scheduling coordinated based on mutual availability. No after-hours, weekend, or holiday support is included in this retainer. Payment Terms: Retainer fees are billed monthly in advance. Work begins once payment is received. Missed or late payments may pause services. Cancellation: Retainers may be canceled with 14 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle. Payments already made are non-refundable, as time and capacity are reserved for the client. Intellectual Property: All final deliverables created under the retainer become the client’s intellectual property upon full payment. Draft files, working documents, and proprietary Bluu Publishing templates, systems, and methodologies remain the property of Bluu Publishing. Portfolio Use: Bluu Publishing may reference the project in a general, non-confidential way (e.g., “Curriculum development for an educational organization”) unless the client requests otherwise in writing. Confidentiality: All client materials and communications are kept confidential and used solely to provide contracted services.
