Curriculum development is a multi-hour, project-based service billed at $275/hr, with a custom scope and proposal provided after the consultation. Terms & Conditions
Consultation & Project Start: A 1-hour initial consultation is required before any curriculum development work begins. Full project proposals—including estimated hours and scope—are provided after the consultation. Work begins upon signed agreement and payment of the initial deposit outlined in the proposal. Cancellation of Consultation: Consultations may be canceled up to 48 hours prior with no penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours incur a $50 fee. No-shows are non-refundable. Project Deposits & Payments: Curriculum development projects require a 30–50% deposit (based on scope) to secure the project start date. Remaining balances are invoiced according to the milestone schedule outlined in the proposal. All work is billed at $275 per hour unless a fixed-rate package is provided. Project Cancellations: If the client cancels the project after work has started, the deposit becomes non-refundable, any completed work beyond the deposit amount will be invoiced at the hourly rate, and all partially completed deliverables remain the intellectual property of Bluu Publishing until full payment is received. Rescheduling of Working Meetings: Meetings may be rescheduled once with 24-hour notice at no charge. Additional rescheduling or last-minute changes may incur a $75 administrative fee. Turnaround Times & Client Responsibilities: Timelines depend on client responsiveness and timely provision of materials. Delays caused by the client may extend the project timeline without penalty to Bluu Publishing. Scope Adjustments: Any new materials, additional grade levels, new product lines, or platform formatting not included in the original proposal will require a revised estimate, additional billed hours, or a new contract. Intellectual Property: All curriculum materials developed by Bluu Publishing—including drafts, working files, and final deliverables—become the client’s intellectual property upon full payment. Until payment is complete, all materials remain the property of Bluu Publishing. Confidentiality: Bluu Publishing will not share, publish, or distribute the client’s proprietary content, curriculum materials, or project files. Portfolio Use: Bluu Publishing may reference the project in a professional portfolio or capability statement in a general, non-confidential manner, without revealing proprietary content, internal documents, or sensitive client information. Clients may opt out of portfolio mention by submitting a request in writing.
